When a Team Lunch Turns Into an Intervention: The Chinese Buffet Incident

Team Munchies And Smoke went for a casual lunch at a Chinese buffet. We thought we were just hungry. Turns out, we were too hungry.

Midway through our third plate, a server slid us a polite little card that basically said,
You’ve eaten enough. Please leave quietly before this gets awkward.

No yelling. No drama. Just a classy, you’re cut off note.

Apparently, “all-you-can-eat” doesn’t mean all-you-can-eat. Who knew?

We left, full, humbled, and forever bonded by that cold, hard truth: even buffets have limits.
